Notification of Death
If any member knows of the death of an active or past Agent (of the association or not) or, their spouse, please contact Jim Echoff. He will then send a sympathy card on behalf of CGIA Officers and Members. This will only work, if you the membership participate. It will also help, if you can send along the address of any non-member of the association, who has passed. All this information, will help keep the “Crossed the Bar,” list current. Jim can be reached at [email protected] or 916-201-9006 (if no answer, leave voice mail).

- Conference News from Bud Hall
Our guest speaker for the Saturday evening banquet has confirmed. It is S/A Matt Harris, CGIS. Matt coordinates all Coast Guard personnel attending any trainings at FLETC. Besides speaking on the latest trends in CGIS training, Matt is also very interested in meeting everyone and hearing about our past CGI/OIL experiences. His time with us promises to be very enlightening.
Our Friday evening Murder Mystery Dinner is set, hosted by the Rock Bottom Brewery and produced by The Murder Mystery Co. The mystery production will be "Midnight At The Masquerade". While we are getting a group rate, everyone planning to attend this activity will need to call in their own reservations, payment, and menu choices. Our group rate is $45 per person(which is half price, usually $90/person). Call 888-643-2583, ext. 1, tell them you are part of the "Henry Hall" party Coast Guard Investigative Assoc. Meal choices for the three course dinner are; Ale Chicken, Tuscan Chicken Pasta, Roast Beef Stroganoff, or Vegetarian Tuscan Pasta.
While many dinner party goers will dress formal, etc., our contact suggested that any relaxed dinner attire is fine. We will be providing masquerade party masks for our attendees. Reserve early as these murder mystery dinners do sell out!!
Midnight At The Masquerade:
The rustle of silks and feathers under muted conversation was probably the last thing heard by the tragically and unexpectedly deceased at the Billionaires’ Club Annual Masquerade Ball. With a mystery under each feathery façade, unmasking the killer may be quite a challenge. It’s up to you to determine which partygoer is guilty, bring this crime to justice, and save the party!
Attend the Billionaires’ Club Annual Masquerade Ball and help get this soiree back on track by trading clues with your guests, gathering information, and solving the crime before the masked menace gets away! Evening wear, ball gowns, Venetian masks, suits, and tuxes are what to wear to this high class night of masks and murder. Get ready for a glamorous evening of mystery, intrigue, and murder.

A note from the new president: Steve Little
Greeting to all,
We have a website with the Radisson Hotel, BRANSON, MO where you can go and reserve your room for the 2015 CGIA Conference.
Last year we had a great time thanks to the very hard work of Bruce Shiels.....and before we even left he was working on 2015. He has arranged for more group entertainment....more to follow on that front as details are nailed down.
Please block out these dates on your social schedules and make your travel arrangements soon.
I look forward to seeing as many as possible this September.

Steve Little
President, CGIA
